Synopsis:
Heiress Doris Laurey has inherited her father’s valuable coal mine. Clark Kent visits the mine to get the story, but is sent away by Laurey’s uncle, Jim. Investigating further as Superman, he saves Doris from death inside the mine.

Frightened by the experience, Doris meets with her uncle who tries to poison her, but is stopped by the Man of Steel. Jim Laurey then tries to kill both of them, but Superman’s powers overcome the crook. After apprehending Jim and his partner, the mine manager Crawford, Superman saves the mine from a bomb planted by the crooks.
