Synopsis:
Superman helps the victims of a train crash, then discovers that the track was sabotaged. When a second wreck occurs, the Daily Planet prints a scathing article about the train company's safety precautions. Superman observes the train company and learns that detective Sparky Waters has been hired to find the source of the sabotage.

Superman question Waters which leads him to the Butch Fletcher mob who are responsible for the crashes. Superman prevents another crash, then deals with Waters who is working with the saboteurs. Superman tracks down Waters and his boss Thornton Bigsby. Bigsby hoped to ruin the train company then buy it cheap. Superman calls police and leaves the crooks for them.
