Synopsis:
Batman and Robin travel to South America where Superman disappeared over a week ago while stopping a volcano and tracking a criminal, Floyd Frisby. Deep in the jungle they encounter a hidden tribe. Robin believes they are going to attack so he strikes first. Batman puts a stop to the fight and is taken to the tribe’s king.
The king is Superman. The volcanic eruption gave Superman amnesia. He was found by the tribe who made he their leader when his powers matched those of a tribal legend.
Frisby arrives to claim that the Dynamic Duo is evil unless they unmask. Unwilling to do so, they escape into the ancient city. Batman returns to expose Frisby as the crook, while Robin paints an image of Clark Kent on the wall of a temple. Seeing the image jogs Superman’s lost memory. He and the Dynamic Duo return home with the captured crook in tow.
