Part 2: "The Toys of Terror"
Details of Negative Man's radioactive condition are revealed in this story.
Synopsis:
After the Doom Patrol saves her plane from crashing, Gabrielle Soullet, secretly Madame Rouge in disguise, appears to trick Negative Man into helping her steal plans for a device that can expand matter. Actually, he and the Chief are aware of this ruse by the Brotherhood of Evil and are luring them into a trap, but their plan backfires when a jealous Elasti-Girl mistakenly intervenes. The Brotherhood uses the expanding ray to rob the Federal Reserve Bank by enlarging toy tanks and soldiers into a life-size armed task force. Only Negative Man can stop them by removing his special bandages and jamming the Brain's controlling radio-waves with his own radioactivity. The expanding process proves defective and the enlarged weapons eventually disintegrate. Madame Rouge and Giacomo the midget are captured by the Doom Patrol, but Mallah and the Brain escape.
