Synopsis:
Hal Jordan takes a job flying tourists on sightseeing trips in Idaho. While taking two Germans in the wilderness, Hal is slugged by one of the men. His ring protects him from harm, so he follows them back to the Skyview Lodge. The crooks search the lodge for a painting, stolen during World War II. The son of the lodge's owner had hidden the painting during the war, intending to smuggle it back to the United States.

The Germans find the painting, but Green Lantern finds them. GL chooses to beat the crooks with his fists in order to give his Hal Jordan side some fun. After beating the crooks, Hal meets the daughter of the lodge owner. She is fascinated by Green Lantern. Hal decides it is time to move on, since he doesn't want to compete with his alter ego.
