Synopsis:
Superman is put on trial for killing Lex Luthor. His defense attorney's Vel Quennar and Garn Abu try several strategies to free the Man of Steel, but they fail to convince the court of Superman's innocence.
Before the guilty verdict can be delivered, Superman escapes from jail and finds Luthor's secret laboratory. He learns that Luthor has invented a drug that induces a coma-like state. Suspecting that Luthor is not dead Superman attempts to revive his foe and succeeds.
The Lexorians are pleased that their hero still lives, but they refuse to believe he faked his death, so that Superman would be executed for the murder. Superman is cleared of the murder charge, then banished from Lexor.
