Synopsis:
When dining in a saloon, Jonah Hex is attacked by two outlaws. He casually kills them. The people in the town, led by Mr. Craig, form a lynch mob to go after Jonah. They are distracted from their goal when a man rides into town after being shot by an arrow. By the time the townspeople return their attention to Jonah, he has left.
Outside of town, Jonah meets an indian girl named Little Fawn. She takes his gun and accidentally shoots him in the shoulder. Despite his wound, Jonah saves the little girl's life and gets her back to her village. However, she has contracted small pox as a result of diseased blankets given to the indians by Mr. Craig.
Jonah rides out from the village in search of a doctor. After finally obtaining some medicine, Jonah returns to the village where he finds the entire tribe slaughtered. He heads back to town in search of vengeance only to discover that the townspeople including Craig have contracted the pox. Jonah gives Craig the medicine intended for Little Fawn, but before the man can use it, Jonah shoots the bottle. Hex then leaves Craig to die.
