Synopsis:
Bounty hunter Jonah Hex has been hired by the town of Paradise Corners to apprehend Big Jim and his gang, dead or alive. He successfully kills each member of the gang, then chases Big Jim himself. The outlaw takes a woman hostage, forcing Jonah to drop his gun. When Big Jim makes a run for it, Jonah pulls out a knife and kills him.

Jonah returns to town for his bounty. He then tries to buy a house in the area, but the town council refuses his purchase. They don't want him to stay. He returns to the farm where he killed Big Jim. The woman he saved takes a shot at him. She is upset that her son now idolizes him. Jonah rides out of town, unwanted.
