Snapper Carr graduates from high school and shares an adventure with the Atom in the first story of Atom #4 following this story.

Synopsis:
Super-weapons of different nations are stolen by an invisible force, and giant stone men appear in Tokyo, Brasilia, and Central City. When the weapons are used for the attempted destruction of these cities, the Justice League members split up to investigate. The stone men prove intangible to their blows, but solid when striking in their defense. Although they prevent Tokyo from being wiped out, J’onn J’onzz, Green Arrow, and Aquaman are unable to halt their foe, until he vanishes, and the same thing happens to Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Atom in Brasilia.

In Central City, Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern learn that the stone men are inhabitants of a parallel Earth separated from Earth-1 by one minute of time. Simultaneous nuclear explosions on each Earth have caused them to approach each other, and the aliens seek to prevent the mutual destruction this would cause by obliterating those cities which share locations of cities on their world.

Green Lantern resolves the problem by causing the two worlds again to be separated by one full minute of time.
