Synopsis:
Marisa Dillon leaves Seguro in search of newspaper stories. She arrives in Gunners' Gulch where a large gold deposit has been found. Cooper, the town clerk, and his partner try to cheat the miners out of their claims. Marisa begins asking too many questions, prompting the crooks to kidnap her.

The Whip has been secretly following Marisa since she left Seguro. He is unable to prevent her kidnapping, but he traces the horse that the kidnapper rode. He then spots an airplane headed into the desert. The plane is flown by the kidnappers who leave Marisa in the desert to die.
