Synopsis:
Superman's powers begin to fade over time. By the 1990s, he has dropped out of the public eye completely. Now he lives anonymously on the streets of Metropolis as a wheelchair bound beggar. His friends are not aware of his condition. He does however retain his super-vision and super-hearing. However, modern technology has rendered Superman obsolete.
One day while working on an experiment to restore his powers, an accident causes his clothes to become ruined. He then wears his Superman costume while panhandling. He covers his costume with a blanket to hide his secret, but when the blanket is removed, Superman's identity is exposed. He is forced to flee from onlookers who want to know what happened to the once mighty Man of Steel.
