Synopsis:
After Mona Bennett learns that Bruce Gordon is Eclipso, Bruce is contacted by an old college friend who also knows his secret. The friend, Judson Randall, claims to have a cure for Bruce's condition. Bruce agrees to let Randall try his experiment to cure him.

Randall's cure separates Gordon from Eclipso making them two distinct individuals. He also gains control of Eclipso in the process. Randall locks Bruce up and uses Eclipso to steal an atomic warhead.

Bruce escapes from Randall's lab, tracks down the warhead and disarms it. The military then destroys the missile, Randall's lab, and Eclipso. Even though this Eclipso was destroyed, Bruce knows the real Eclipso is still inside him.
