Synopsis:
Lois receives a tip concerning a notorious spy-ring. Her investigation turns up three pieces of evidence which she stores in safe locations. When she brings her allegations against gang leader Max Mordo, she is asked to produce the evidence. However, all three documents have disappeared, despite her security measures. Lois is accused of perjury, and the case is thrown out of court.

The spies used paper that disintegrated after time, which caused the documents to disappear. When they gloat about it later, their scheme is exposed since Lois planted a microphone to pick up their conversation. Lois's reputation is restored, and Superman apprehends the gang.
