Synopsis:
Clark Kent is scheduled to appear on the TV program, the Eye of Metropolis. The show’s host, John Bates, suspects Clark of being Superman. Clark is interviewed by Bates and questioned about certain incidents in which it appeared that he was Superman. Clark is able to wiggle his way out of the questions without lying.

Next, Bates submits Clark to a lie detector. Clark again passes through trickery. Bates is now satisfied that he was wrong and that Clark is not Superman.
