This story was originally titled "The Rainbow Superman".

Synopsis:
While Superman is turning over a captured crook to the police, he begins glowing like a rainbow. The glowing corresponds with Lois Lane's locket. The locket contains a small fragment of a meteor Superman recently destroyed. The rainbow effect will last until sundown and only affect Superman while the locket is open.

Superman, as Clark Kent, is forced to attend dinner with Lois. He struggles the entire meal to prevent Lois from opening her locket. He succeeds, but he still must return to the office. Superman sprays the office with special dust, so that when he returns and Lois opens the locket, the entire Planet staff glows. They believe they were contaminated when Superman was in the office earlier. Clark’s identity is safe.
