Synopsis:
Jimmy Olsen attends the performance of Verro, the Ventriloquist. In his act Verro uses a Jimmy Olsen dummy. When the dummy goes missing, Jimmy stands in for it, so the show can continue.

Later, the dummy seems to be stalking Jimmy, having come to life. No one believes Jimmy’s story, so Jimmy returns to Verro. The ventriloquist asks Jimmy to summon Superman when the dummy attacks. The Man of Steel arrives, only to be attacked by Verro who is an alien. However, Jimmy has already discovered the plot and signalled Superman. He is able to avoid the trap and thwart the alien invasion.
