Synopsis:
A new criminal, the General, uses military tactics in his crimes. Superboy stops a couple of his operations which angers the criminal leader. He and his accomplice, the Brain, devise a scheme to kill Superboy.
First they lure Superboy’s robots to a remote location. Using special weapons the General’s men are able to destroy them. Next, the Brain creates a duplication ray like the one made by Professor Dalton. He focuses the ray on Krypto which creates a Bizarro duplicate of the Super-Dog. The Bizarro is sent to the far end of space pursued by the real Krypto.
With Superboy’s helpers taken out of the picture, the General lures Superboy into a Kryptonite trap. The Boy of Steel tries to summon help, but none is available. Finally he is able to activate the mind of one of his robots. Using scraps left from the other robots, it rebuilds itself and comes to Superboy’s rescue. Free from the trap, Superboy rounds up the General and the rest of his men.
