Synopsis:
While playing tag with Superboy, Krypto finds a buried dinosaur bone. The bone has fossilized though making it taste bad, so he travels back in time to find fresh dinosaur bones. Along the way, he inadvertantly helps Babe Ruth hit his sixtieth homerun, George Washington cross the Delaware, the little Dutch boy plug the dyke, saves Robin Hood’s life, and helps King Arthur pull the sword from the stone.

When he finally travels to the age of dinosaurs, Superboy finds him, preventing him from eating the bones. The Boy of Steel takes Krypto back to the present to celebrate the anniversary of Krypto’s arrival on Earth. Krypto is again deprived of his dinosaur bones when some bones he finds in a glacier are claimed by an archeologist. Sadly, Krypto must settle for ordinary dog bones.
