Synopsis:
An alien boy lands on Earth, coming from a distant world. The boy, Dworn, is weak in Earth’s environment, just as Superboy is strong. Dworn does have one ability though, he can turn objects into gold.
Superboy suggests that Dworn adopt a secret identity to prevent discovery. Dworn disguises himself as Alan, Clark Kent’s pen pal and lives with the Kents. Superboy uses his powers to prevent Dworn’s weakness from being discovered in his new identity.
Some crooks eventually capture him though in order to force him to make gold for them. Superboy locates them, but when he arrives Kryptonite is used against him. Kryptonite however gives Dworn powers of his own. Dworn stops the crooks, then leaves Earth taking the Kryptonite with him.
