Superboy is served a summons to appear in court on charges that a fragment of his rocket destroyed the house of a man named Fenton. Superboy reenacts his rocket trip to Earth, and indeed a fragment destroys a glass factory which stands where Fenton’s house was. Before the jury can return a ruling, an astronomer explains that a comet caused the experiment to fail, exonerating Superboy. After the trial, it is revealed that the scenario was a ruse to destroy the glass factory which was producing secret government weapons.
