Synopsis:
After getting snubbed by Lucy Lane for being so young, Jimmy Olsen visits Professor Potter. The professor gives Jimmy a formula which causes him to grow into a man overnight. Jimmy quickly discovers that adulthood is not what he expected. Lucy won’t see him at all because he is no longer cute, Perry hires a new cub reporter to replace Jimmy, and Superman makes the new cub reporter, Wally Jones, his pal. Regretful of his choice, Jimmy returns to the professor for the antidote. Once he is restored to normal, Superman and Perry tell Jimmy they played a gag to make Jimmy realize what he was doing was wrong. Jimmy keeps his job and his pal, even Lucy now wants to date him.
