Synopsis:
Wonder Girl undergoes a challenge from Athena to officially make her a full-fledged Amazon. Wonder Girl successfully meets Athena's challenge and as a reward Athena offers to grant the next wish made to her. Bird-Boy and Mer-Boy, who have been watching the challenge, speak first. Each wishes that Wonder Girl be transformed into creatures like them.
Athena grants Bird-Boy's wish first, transforming Wonder Girl into a bird. She then accompanies Bird-Boy to his home. She is disgusted by the worms the bird people eat and causes trouble with Bird-Boy's friends. Finally, she returns to Paradise Island.
After failing as a bird girl, Wonder Girl is changed into a mermaid and joins Mer-Boy. Her experiences with Mer-Boy and his people end in similar fashion to those with Bird-Boy. Wonder Girl leaves the water, and Athena restores her to normal. Bird-Boy and Mer-Boy decide not to give up hope, despite the failed experiment.
