Synopsis:
Clark Kent and Lana Lang attend a sleuthing class conducted by Captain Reilly, an ex-police officer. Lana's father offers the class a reward if they can locate a thief that has stolen a golden mask from Lang's museum. Clark follows the clues at the crime scene and deduces that Lana stole the mask.

Superboy finds the mask and returns to class with it. He then explains that Lana took the mask to protect her father from a curse placed upon it. Superboy proves that the curse is real though not magical in nature. Lang then donates the reward money to Reilly.
