Synopsis:
Superman pursues a group of galactic thiefmasters into space. He is lured to a world with a red sun, where he is left powerless. Superman encounters the inhabitants of the planet, the Thorones, all of which have super powers. When they witness Superman's weakness, they decide to use their superior powers to conquer Earth.
Superman befriends one of the Thorones, Lahla, who takes pity on the weak Man of Steel. Lahla helps Superman escape from a prison cell, but they are soon captured and exiled to the dark side of the planet. Superman learns that the Thorones lose their powers when not exposed to direct sunlight.
Superman constructs a robot, which launches him into space. When he is out of range of the red sun, his powers return. Superman then places a moon in orbit of the Thorone planet, so that a permanent eclipse keeps the inhabitants powerless. Lahla, who had been infatuated by Superman's weakness, is brought to Earth. When she learns that Superman is the strongest man in the universe, Lahla decides to marry a weak Earth man.
