Synopsis:
Evil Star escapes from his cell on Oa and sends a projected image to Earth to challenge Green Lantern to a duel. Evil Star has also managed to negate the power of the Central Power Battery with his star-band. GL arrives on Oa and quickly loses his power ring to Evil Star. Using delaying tactics, Hal is able to elude Evil Star until a second power ring surrounds the planet with a force field which cuts the stellar radiation necessary for Evil Star to utilize his star-band. With both heroes powerless, they fight hand-to-hand with Hal prevailing. The Guardians restore Hal's ring and once again incarcerate Evil Star.
