Synopsis:
Near Coast City, a strange boiling lake has appeared. Investigators see dinosaurs near the lake and are attacked by a pterodactyl. More pterodactyls threaten the city.
On a distant planet a race of intelligent pterodactyls is responsible for the developments. They have altered a section of Earth with a time-reversal beam to bring back the pterodactyls. They endow the creatures with superior mentality in an attempt to make the pterodactyls of Earth a master race.
With the military unable to defeat the attackers, Green Lantern tries to stop them. The superior mental force of the pterodactyls cancel out the effect of Green Lantern’s power beam. Instead GL lures them back to the lake, where the time tunnel, which brought the creatures to the present, exists. They encounter a T-Rex which frightens the pterodactyls enough for Green Lantern to overpower the leader. With the leader out of commission, the other creatures collapse. GL returns through the tunnel but is unable to determine how they developed. The alien pterodactyls abandon their plans when Earth moves out of range.
