Synopsis:
Rod Gaynor encounters a peasant being beaten by his boss. Rod tries to intervene, but the job foreman chases him away. Rod learns the the peasants working the land are made to endure harsh conditions by the wealthy land owners.

As the Whip, Rod issues a warning to the greedy land owners to improve conditions. When they refuse, the Whip kidnaps the men and puts them to work in the fields. After a few days of hard work with little food, the wealthy men concede to the Whip's demands. He lets them go in exchange for their promise to improve the conditions for their workers.
