Synopsis:
Dane’s father, an ex-Navy frogman, awards his son with his prize flippers for his accomplishments. Dane decides that each member of the team has earned them, and a competition will be held to see who receives them. Each member of the team must complete a dive and whomever accomplishes the most spectacular feat will be the winner.
Biff goes first and rescues an underwater photographer from a swordfish. Judy goes next and is able to capture a diamond smuggler. Dane diverts a tropedo that was aimed at a passenger boat on his dive. However when each member returns, they claim that nothing special happened in hopes that Nicky, the youngest Sea Devil would be able to earn the Flippers.
Nicky catches on to their scheme and will not accept them since he feels he has not earned them. Just then a whale nearly capsizes the boat. Nicky’s skill saves the boat and drives the whale away. For his outstanding accomplishment, Nicky is awarded the prize flippers.
