This is a Detached Service Diary story featuring Hendrickson.

Synopsis:
When several disasters are apparently caused by strange plants, Hendrickson requests to work on the assignment alone. He is embarassed his hobby as a horticulturist and doesn't want the other team to know about his knowledge of plant life. Hendrickson traces the mysterious plants to a small island where he is captured by an intelligent mutant plant called King-Plant. Hendrickson manages to use his belt-radio to contact the other Blackhawks. They come to his aid and destroy King-Plant and his creations.
