This story is from the Combat Diary and takes place during World War II.

Synopsis:
While ambushing a Nazi convoy, the Blackhawks are attacked by a flying alien creature. They are forced to retreat. When the creature becomes stuck in a tree, Hendrickson rescues it. A humanoid alien then appears and explains that the flying creature is his pet. The Nazis have taken the control unit which controls the pet and are using him to attack the Allies. When the flying pet is summoned by the Nazis to attack the Allied army, Blackhawk order Hendrickson to shoot it down using an alien gun. Hendrickson aims instead at the control unit. Once the controls are destroyed the pet breaks off the attack and returns to his owner.
