The crooks, Gates and Lowther, has rescued an alien from a crashed spaceship. They convince the alien, Kleeg, to design more weapons to use of the Challengers by telling him that the Challs are criminals. Kleeg stops the Challs, but the team is able to convince him of the truth. Kleeg then offers to help catch the crooks.

Kleeg double-crosses the Challs and reveals he is really a crook himself. He teams with Gates and Lowther and captures the Challengers. The criminals then leave to committ another crime, but the Challs escape and stop them. Kleeg is finally captured by the space police.
