The being reveals that he is a Superboy robot that was reactivated recently. The robot wants to replace Jimmy as Superman’s pal and was studying Jimmy. Jimmy agrees to let the robot replace him. Shortly, the new Jimmy encounters Superman endangered by a Kryptonite meteor. The robot reveals its super-strength to get rid of the meteor. The Kryptonite was a fake, set up by Superman to test the robot’s intentions. Superman then converts the robot into a Superman robot which pleases it greatly.
