Comments:
This story contains a flashback to Superboy's early career, revealing that Clark Kent was the first person saved by Superboy. The incident was obviously a cover used to protect Superboy's secret identity.

This flashback takes place between the flashback in the second story of Superman #144 and the flashback in the third story of Superboy #70.

Synopsis:
Humpty Dumpty, the Hobber Robber, escapes from jail. He begins a string of robberies based on famous firsts. Superboy decides to use Humpty to help raise support for a new Smallville museum.

Humpty unwittingly becomes Superboy's partner and is put on display at the museum. He escapes however, then kidnaps Clark Kent, the first person Superboy ever saved. Superboy outwits Humpty again and returns him to prison.
