Synopsis:
Superman is exposed to a malfunctioning X-ray machine. The machine super-charges his X-ray vision causing him to destroy everything he looks at. To prevent injury, he fashions a set of lead goggles to wear. Unfortunately he is blind while wearing them. Superman uses his amazing hearing to continue his crime-fighting. Finally, he realizes that the effect may wear off if he uses it full blast, so he flies to a deserted planet and burns it to a cinder. When he returns to Earth, he is back to normal.
