Synopsis:
Superman’s hearing is damaged in a large explosion causing it to become extremely sensitive. In order to avoid pain, he constructs a vacuum-sealed helmet which from within he can hear nothing.

Criminals learn of his disability and use it to their advantage. Also Lois tries to use it to prove that Clark is Superman. The Man of Steel outwits the crooks and Lois until eventually his hearing returns to normal.
