Synopsis:
Clark and Lois travel to the jungle to investigate reports of a super powered ape. Guided by two men, the reporters find the ape and discover his powers to be authentic. Clark, as Superman, helps the Super-Ape stop a volcano and learns that the simian is from Krypton.

A Kryptonian scientist, Shir Kan, sent several apes into space when Jor-El warned him of Krypton’s coming destruction. The Super-Ape arrived on Earth and was raised by normal apes. He possesses powers in Earth’s environment and can also speak.

Superman learns from the ape that the guides are illegal trappers. They team up to stop the crooks, but are both felled by Kryptonite. The trappers take Lois and the ape back to the city in cages. Lois helps the ape escape, and Superman returns as well. After defeating the trappers, Superman reunites Super-Ape with the other Kryptonian apes which landed on other planets.
