Synopsis:
Wildcat and Stretch Skinner visit the estate of Jacob Waters, an oil magnate. On the way they meet Hank Haskins, an ex-con who is being attacked by his old gang. Wildcat rescues Haskins, who indicates that he wants to go straight. Ted Grant then gives Haskins a job as his chauffeur.

When Ted and Stretch arrive at the Waters estate, they learn that crooks are trying to steal valuable plans from the safe. Wildcat witnesses Haskins letting in his gang, so he stops them. Haskins calls the police himself, but the plans are missing. Wildcat suspects that Haskins stole them himself, then tried to frame his gang. Instead, Stretch has the plans and was working with Haskins to catch the gangsters and protect Ted Grant.
