Synopsis:
Mxyztplk receives a command from the king of his 5th dimensional world to marry the royal princess. Mxyztplk finds the princess ugly, so he claims to already be engaged to Lois Lane. The king gives him one week to marry Lois or he will force the imp to marry the princess.

Mxyztplk returns to Earth and begins courting Lois. She agrees to marry him if he proves to be a better reporter. Lois counts on Superman helping her build her reputation as a journalist. Despite Superman's help, Mxyztplk outwits Lois and gets every story. Lois is forced to marry the imp, but at the wedding Superman tricks Mxyztplk into saying his name backwards. The imp disappears before the ceremony can be completed.
