Synopsis:
A new camera store opens in Smallville. Wilkins, the owner, holds a contest for teenagers with the winner being determined by the best action shot featuring Superboy. The contest builds business for the shop as many boys buy cameras or have their existing camera's repaired. Wilkins needs help to fix the broken cameras, so he enlists the aid of prisoners at the Smallville prison.

Blake, a former geologist, is one of the prisoners. He has found Kryptonite while working in the rock pile. He plants tiny pieces of Kryptonite in the repaired cameras. When the owners take photos of Superboy, then also expose him to Kryptonite radiation.

As more teenagers surround Superboy to take pictures, he becomes weaker. When he offers to put on a exhibition by catching an experimental missile, hundreads of amateur photographers show up. Superboy is so weakened, that he collapses. When news reaches the prison, Blake starts a jailbreak.

Using the last of his strength, Superboy is able to divert the incoming missile. He holds on to it and is guided away from the cameras. Although, he is too weak to move, he directs the missile to the prison and circles it. The prisoners halt their escape attempt and return to their cells. After the crisis has passed, Superboy destroys the Kryptonite cameras and replaces them with new ones. Larry Wright wins the photo contest for his picture of Superboy riding the missile around the prison.
