Synopsis:
Barry Allen and Iris West attend a lecture given by Dr. Wiley Summers. Summers has discovered a race of evil cloud creatures that have come from inside a volcano. His discoveries are dismissed as nonsense.

However the cloud creatures are real, and they begin to attack an airforce base. When the report of the attack reaches Barry, he races to the scene as the Flash. The cloud beings attack Flash but they cannot catch him. He runs up the side of a mountain and then skips across the clouds to reach his target. Flash is able to defeat the cloud beings and turn them into rain.

With the help of Dr. Summers, the world is now prepared should the creatures attack again. Iris is fascinated by Summers which creates a rivalry between the doctor and Barry Allen.
