Synopsis:
Big Al, Little Al, and Charlie Cigar are three infantrymen in the Pacific. Following the invasion of an island, the trio are sent in as reinforcements. They notice that the captain of the landing craft and the gunner seem too tired to fight. However when a Japanese ship attacks, they spring to life and fight back.

When the landing craft reaches the beach, the new soldiers dig foxholes for the night. They notice that the other men are tired. During the night, a Japanese plane attacks. The tired men fight back with anti-aircraft fire.

In the morning, Big Al, Little Al, and Charlie Cigar move inland. They join the frontline troops who look very tired. When the Japanese attack in the night the tired men stay alert and counter the attack. After several days, the trio of reinforcements are equally tired when their relief arrives. However, they are not too tired to fight.
