Synopsis:
Rod Reilly, playboy son of steel tycoon Ed Reilly, is really the masked vigilante known as Firebrand. Rod stumbles upon a gang of crooks targeting a steeplejack for murder. Rod stops the crooks, but is unable to make them talk. He is the forced to flee from police who believe him to be a crook himself.
Rod then attends a war relief ball. Baron Von Hanson, one of the guests, has his pocket picked by Dippy Dolan. Rod suspects the baron of nefarious activity, so he buys the wallet from Dippy. He uses the vault combination inside to open Von Hanson's vault which contains a fortune in stolen jewels. Firebrand stops the crooks, exposing their racket of using window washers to case offices. He then forces the baron to turn the jewels over to the war relief effort. He then allows the baron to leave the country.
