Synopsis:
When crooks steal a giant gold ball intended to be auctioned for charity, Superman is unable to find it. Later, he stops a fireball from falling on Metropolis, but in doing so he becomes strangely afflicted by a rainbow effect. The rainbow surrounds his body and turns everything it touches to glass. When the crooks learn that Superman will be near the hiding place for the gold ball, they try to move it. When they do, Superman captures them, revealing the rainbow doom was just a hoax to find the gold.
