Jimmy is swindled into buying a flute that he believes will tame wild animals. A series of accidents make the flute appear to work, so Jimmy agree to go to Africa to get circus animals. Superman tags along to protect Jimmy.

Jimmy finds several animals and uses the flute to tame them. Superman is astounded that the flute is working, until he realizes the animals are already tamed. He tricks Jimmy into realizing the flute is a fake by disguising himself as a gorilla. Finally Jimmy and Superman return to America with the animals, which are tame because they are escaped circus animals.
