This story briefly retells the origin of Ice Cream Soldier from the first story of Our Army at War #114.

This story also contains a flashback to Rock's days as a private in North Africa.

Synopsis:
Easy Company is joined by two new recruits named High Boy and Goldfish. When Easy is forced to fight a tank while wading in high water, High Boy panics. Goldfish, an excellent swimmer proves himself a hero and helps High Boy. High Boy then manages to destroy the tank.

Later Easy is forced to climb a mountainside. This time the roles are reversed as Goldfish is scared of heights. High Boy saves him, allowing Goldfish to return fire on an enemy aircraft.
