Synopsis:
Dan Moran and Sport Hoagland competed in games as boys. When they became older Dan became a cop, while Sport became a crook. After serving a sentence in jail, Sport is released and begins playing a weekly game of Cops and Robbers with his old friend Dan. During one game, the game board is accidentally burned by a lit cigarette.
After committing a robbery in which he accidentally leaves a piece from the game at the crime scene, Sport goes to buy a new game board. He learns that Stuff has just purchased the last set, so he offers to buy it from the Chinatown Kid.
Vigilante is suspicious when he learns about the game piece at the crime scene. He follows Sport and starts a fight with the gang. Dan also learns about the piece and arrives during the fight. His interruption allows the gang to momentarily get the upper hand. Vigilante suspects that Dan is working with the gang.
Vigilante manages to escape. He and Stuff then rally to defeat the gang. He is assisted by Dan Moran who proves that he is a good cop. With Sport sent back to jail, Dan continues his weekly game with Stuff.
