Comments:
Since Dr. Ito returns in the fifth story of Action Comics #73, he apparently does not die as shown in this story.

Synopsis:
Americommando navigates a barge of explosives behind enemy lines. However, his contact is a traitor, who sells him out to Dr. Ito. Americommando is captured and trapped on the barge while fire engulfs it. He manages to free himself, then escape the burning barge before it explodes. Americommando then returns to shore where he defeats Dr. Ito once and for all.
