Synopsis:
While Superboy is away in space, the Kents adopt another child for a month, Allen Greene. Allen, coincidentally, is really Vidal, and alien with a mission on Earth. He masquerades as Superboy while here. The Kents are forced to protect his secret identity as well, although they begin to worry about what Vidal’s mission really is.

Vidal finally reveals to the Kents, that he came to Earth in an attempt to find suitable foster parents for Superboy. He has tested them and believes that the Kents should adopt Superboy. The Kents agree, not revealing to Vidal that Superboy is already their foster son Clark.
