Synopsis:
While assisting the Coast Guard with some errands, Aquaman runs across smuggler, Jed Rowe. Aquaman pursues the smuggler ashore. However, the chase goes on for an hour. He and Aqualad begin suffering from lack of water. Fortunately, Aquaman locates some nearby snow to sustain them, but Rowe escapes.

Later while helping some injured fish, Aquaman learns of a secret cache belonging to Rowe. The sea king investigates, but once again is stuck on land for an hour. A nearby goat supplies milk which refreshes him.

While policing some troublesome boaters, Aquaman is informed that Rowe has stolen a Navy sub. He forces the sub aground by disguising turtles as mines. This time Aquaman and his partner take a canteen of water ashore. The smugglers shoot the canteen, and Aquaman is again reaching his one hour limit. A broken down car has water in the radiator to provide for him this time.

Aquaman finally captures some of Rowe’s men. They reveal where Rowe’s hide-out is. When Aquaman and Aqualad arrive, they walk into a trap. The heroes are tied up and left to die. Aquaman activated the sprinkler system, and Aqualad uses a fish tank to provide them with water. They survive to capture Rowe and his men.
