Synopsis:
Tom Shaw returns from the war in North Africa after single-handedly defeating a squad of enemy troops. Tom has lost a leg in combat, so he has a difficult time finding employment. He eventually finds work as a clerk for the Borman Milk Company.

During a meeting of milkmen, a plan is devised to save gas and rubber for the war effort. Tom tries to convince the owners of two rival milk companies to work together to put the plan into action. Tom is refused, but Sargon offers to help. Sargon forces the owners to listen to Tom's war stories. He explains the need for gas and rubber and convinces the rivals to approve the plan.
